I am reaching out for your assistance in inspiring my students to reach their highest potential. Adopt-A-Classroom (http://www.adoptaclassroom.org/) is a non-profit organization that offers an easy and accountable way for you to donate funds to my classroom and make a real difference for my students and I.
All donations are tax-deductible. 100% of the donation goes to my classroom. Adopt-A-Classroom takes $0 out for administration.

Greatest funding need: Helping underprivileged students bridge the achievement gap
I greatly appreciate your donation consideration. I teach Reading, Writing, and Social Studies through Reading and Writing Workshop at Greenacres Elementary in the District of Palm Beach County. My students are wonderful individuals who are working everyday to improve themselves as learners and citizens. My fifth graders range from age 10-12.
They would benefit from your donation in a myriad of ways! Your donation will go towards obtaining more “just right” books for the classroom library, sticky notes for students to stop and jot their thinking as they read, writing utensils, upcoming Reading and Writing celebrations, and much more! 🙂 The above items will assist students to succeed by allowing them the opportunity to read books, whether fiction or nonfiction, that he/she is truly interested in, taking their critical thinking notions from thoughts into written language by stopping and jotting, and celebrating their Reading and Writing growth.
Additionally, your donations will allow students to succeed because they will be notified that there are caring philanthropists that believe in them and their future. Technology is a wonderful learning tool that as of right now my students are deprived from because the current computers are dated and not functioning. Your donation could also go towards purchasing computers, laptops, and/or iPads or tablets…so that students can take Reading Counts quizzes, watch interactive Brain Pop videos, practice taking FCAT style reading assessments, and conduct research.
This will immensely assist students in succeeding by providing them an additional outlet to shine in! Thank you for your time. Have a great day!
